What should I wear with these boots?

My dear and so sweet fiance surprised me with new boots! They are cute and comfy and warm, but I don''t think I can wear them with jeans over them as the calf is a bit bulky. I was thinking of wearing them with a short denim skirt, tights, and a long-ish v-neck sweater. Would that work? How else should I wear them?

your idea is great and I think you can also wear them with jeans inside. I thought about that with some of the waterproof tall boots I like, since I would not want my jeans to get wet and the boots are dry! they look cute and comfy for sure!

I don''t think you can fit jeans inside the boots, can you? I have something similar and it''s hard to fit jeans in them even with skinny jeans. I wear it with denim mini and sweater, and long sweater with leggings.
