What should I pay?

I have been surfing e-bay (who hasn't) for OECs for studs. What is a reasonable price to pay for .75/.80, H-I, VS stones?

$1500 plus per diamond is a good price, less for a deal. You won't get that color most likely, its too rare.

I'd say a little higher (maybe $1800 per stone) unless you are a lucky enough to stumble upon someone who doesn't know what they have. I've been looking for a match for a 5.4mm OEC in a high color (G) for about 8 months now and no luck. I'm about ready to throw in the towel and send my stone to Adam at OWD to find a match for me. I think your best bet is finding a twin ring or a brooch with the stones in it. I wouldn't recommend trying to find two separate stones, especially in that color. It may prove next to impossible, especially since so many folks are into OECs these days.

Bright Ice there is a twin ring on ebay with 5.2mm stones I can link for you. Smaller than you want though. I also have found a couple other twin rings with larger diamonds, more like the size you want, they are priced over $3k though and likely not H/I. Tell me and I'll post them all for you.
