What shape stone to use for shared prong with square cushion?

If I am going to set a square cushion into a shared-prong e-ring, whould I look to use square stones (liek princess) or will round stones be ok? I am not sure which way to go....

My vote would be definitely round melee - they sparkle more and the most neutral in the band to set off the unique shape of a center stone.

Thanks to everyone who responded (and for all the compliments on the stone

)....it looks like RB is the clear leader...even though the stone is "square", it still has the rounded corners so I guess that the rounds won''t look strange next to it. Now I have yet another dilemma....see other post:
