What setting should I choose?

Hi! I am getting my ring reset
I am torn between a 3 stone using my existing side stones, or a halo! I already have a 3 stone ring, but it is differently shaped, otherwise I would totally jump on the 3 stone ring option bc I looove it. Halos are so fun and sparkly tho! Anyway, just looking for advice. Pics of
my current setting and how 3 stone would look. The side stones are baguettes and the center is emerald cut.

Your ring is really pretty. I would do a three stone with your existing baguette stones. You could also make studs from the two remaining baguettes. I personally don’t care for round diamond melee halos for emerald cuts.

Yes I have seen many pics of emeralds with trapezoids and I do like the look. I’m not sure if it would be a dramatic enough difference from the baguettes to justify buying new stones.

I think that a 3 stone using your baguettes would probably not be a significant change, as you say—but traps would be noticeably different.

i absolutely adore the first image!! i think it would be a spectacular ring in the most classic and chicest sense! the long baguettes on either side of your emerald cut is where it is at!

the second image is nice, but to my eyes, more lateral diamond distraction

Update! I think I will do trapezoids and trade in the baguettes. My jeweler found some and sent this pic. Do you guys like the proportion? I know the pic is not great. Thanks!

Very pretty! ! It really will give you nice finger coverage..but doesn’t distract from the gorgeous center stone.

Thanks! That’s one thing I was worried about, having the side stones detract from the center.
