Saw this ad in the paper today. Love the whole thing but positive that it''ll be $$$ especially since this ad was placed by a very high end store. Does anyone recognize the setting? I suspect it''s probably from a higher end designer as well. If so, can anyone offer a similar yet less pricey alternative? Thanks for your help!

I forget the name but if you go to the Hearts on Fire website, you will find it. It''s gorgeous!

Looks like it might be the Felicity Split Shank Solitaire. It's on their website. Very pretty :)

opps might have jumped the gun.......could also be the Wondrous Solitaire, which is the very last ring in the engagement section...very pretty as well.

So if I want something like this(but not this exact ring since it''s likely out of my price range), what is the first step in creating my own?

- find the stone?
- find a similar setting?
- just contact someone from one of the widely used online retailers(whiteflash, JA, GOG,etc) and show them this picture and expect them to help me?

I''m new to all of this but have been frequenting this website for sometime. I''d appreciate any guidance available.

I realize that Hearts on Fire is a branded diamond. Let me just say I don''t care for having a brandname ring. I just want to get the nicest diamond and setting I can for my budget. Thanks!

There have been others on here who have bought a hearts and arrows stone from perhaps WhiteFlash or Good Old Gold and then purchased that Hearts on Fire setting. I agree that it is a gorgeous setting. But by all means buy your diamond first before you go inquire about the setting. If for any reason they no longer sell the settings alone, you can have one custom made probably by Maytal Hannah.
