. . . in your opinion, obviously.

Just guess.

I wonder if there is anyway of knowing what that answer might be? Great research question, Kenny! My guess is - - not enough...!

4.162%

I voted 10% of diamond buyers - some of whom don't take the advice because they think they know better and can get an EGL Bargain!!! ;)

your not even close... the answer is .85%.. :praise:

I voted 5% but it's probably much lower than that. If more did though, I would imagine that the cut quality being offered by most BM would change dramatically!

For those of us who are mathematically challenged:

.1% is 1 in 1000 buyers,

1% is 1 in 100.

I said .1% but I think it would be less than that.

I said .1% and would agree it's less.

The most common feedback that I get from consumers is that they are
so happy that they found PS before making a purchase. As I've mentioned before,
many jewelry retailers STILL have not heard of PS. And that's the case with the general buying public.
PS consumers are a select group of highly educated diamond folks...and hopefully there will be
gazillions more in the years ahead. Upward and onward!

I think the more relevant question will be "how many internet diamond buyers read PS first." then the percentages surely are higher.
Leading to another interesting question- what percentage of diamond shoppers consider buying online?

Good point. I voted 30% but now I realize that would be my guess for internet diamond buyers, but that's way too high for the general shopping public.

Hmmm... Well people might read ps before but that doesn't mean they will listen. I know that at least two of my friends, I told them about ps, they visited the site but decided to listen to a b&m instead cuz they were real people in person even tho their knowledge about diamonds were a bit skewed...
