For those who remember, the gem haul came about because I seek out beads to make my dangles. I make dangles like a form of zen activity. I enjoy sources “end bits” and working out a combination of beads to complement and then I add a clasp and …. A dangle is made.
I have made a heap of them, to start out I made them for my friends with Salukis. It’s “a thing” with the breed to have a wide martingale collar that is decorated. The Bedouin used to make tassles to decorate both their camels and Salukis - both animals being extremely valued by them.
Of course I take it further ha ha.
Now up at our local “village” shops the dress shop owner and I, over the years, have become friends. She saw Arya wearing one of my tassels on her collar and asked where I got it. I told her I made it. I make them as a zen activity. So she wanted a couple for her shop. Two days later, all gone and more required. I’m only really selling them for my material costs and she adds a bit for her profit.
So I made up a display but I need a name.
what do you think?
