what measurements will make my stone appear larger?

Hi looking to purchase a princess cut soon and am getting fet up---please help:

Could someone tell me what measurements will prove a rock to appear larger? for instance, i could hold two 1.51 carat stones side by side, and one may look much larger. why is this? is there more weight on the top of one? personally i would like purchase a stone that looks larger than it is. what would i need to look for as far as measurments?

also, which of the following 1.5 carat stones would appear largest? also the last stone is the most expensive of the three, yet the Pol and Sym are only gd/gd compared to teh first 2 that are v gd/ex. why the price increase?

Hi,
The first two stones are the same exact stone.
The last one will look the largest face up. It has a bigger length and width. It might be because it is 'hiding' less weight in the girdle than the other stone. Is the last one only more expensive by a little bit? What are the prices you've been given and are these from a B&M store or online?

Total depth is the biggest culprit for small-looking stones.

You might want to inspect the tutorial on fancy cuts on the firts page of Pricescope for some inspiration on what would work better.

The most picky I would get in this domaon would be to look foir a stone with about 65% total depth, 65%-70% table, med. girdle and a fiery Iscope picture. Not sure how many like this are out there, but there are some

One 1.33cts Egl-near square, with nice cut proportions... at Whiteflash

If this one were square, the sides should have been 6.3mm to get the same 'face up' size. The asme measure of 'face' up size for the stones you list is 6.25 for the first and 6.5 for the second.
