What kind of jewelry box do you have?

Just ordered a new jewelry box from Amazon. My old one is 25 years old and falling apart. Looked at Wolf but for the extra large it was cost prohibitive. This one was $53.00 than I had a credit to add.

I wanted to update this thread cause I finally bought a jewelry box lol.

It took me almost 5 years to buy something. Crazy how it can take me so long to make such an inconsequential decision but here we are.

After being burgled a few years ago, I developed a certain paranoia about jewelry boxes. Now I keep everything in several safes, and I even have safes for my watches that double as watch winders. I'm not claiming that everything is completely secure now, but it would certainly take burglars a lot of work and time. Enough time for the police to arrive!

I only have one safe, but too much stuff scattered & hidden all over my house. It's been making me crazy. So I have this quirky box on the way. After the husband & pups, it's going to be part of my emergency prepare plan.

Yes, they are grey and ugly on the outside but they can be beautiful on the inside!

I have a massive Reed and Barton mahogany jewelry box I bought in the 80s that is decoupaged. It is my decoy now. I love it, and would like to use it, but this way seems smarter. Above are ‘fun’ earrings hanging from a painting frame—lots of memories there!
