Hello again, all.

Finally looks like I''m ready to take the plunge and expend large amounts of money for one of these little things. ; )

I''m heavily considering this stone from goodoldgold.

Please let me know your thoughts!

Thanks!

Its a beautiful stone! It has a little more depth than some prefer perhaps, but it is a gorgeous diamond!!!!

Too deep? bad? abort?

or just a little something that stops it from being mathematically perfect?

Thanks again!

No, nothing to worry about! I just mentioned it as some here prefer around 60 - 62% for depth, but you have no worries with that diamond, it is gorgeous, and should be a fabulous performer! I would consider it in a heartbeat!! Do NOT abort, it is a wonderful diamond, and a rare and beautiful gem!!!

LOL! No he doesn''t, he is an expert and cares about his clients, it is a fabulous diamond, and he won''t steer you wrong!!!

Looks really nice.

My only comment/question, and this comes based off my recent purchase (also from GOG) is if you''re picky on color and clarity.

If not, you might be able to break the 1ct mark by dropping to H & SI1. I took what really was a shot in the dark and went with this combo and can''t begin to tell you how awesome the stone is. Even the smaller side stones which are I color look the same next to the H.

I think it''s hard to go wrong with really well cut diamonds. Everything I learned on PS about cut being the most important factor is absolutely true. I''m a true believer!

The depth is a little high, but is only due to the girdle thickness.
It won''t be easy to chip this diamond. ;-)
The angle combination sounds very good.
I love:
- the date of the cert (my birthday) :-)
- most of the inclusions can be covered by prongs =""> nice deal!
- no fluo no graining no bla bla in the comments

Get it!!! Wish it was mine
