What is your favorite type of cookie?

I love peanut butter cookies and monster cookies.

Eta: But cookies are just a reason for a milk addiction.

I really like almond macaroons, but nothing beats a buttery chocolate chip cookie. My absolute favorite choc chip cookies are the Cow Chip cookies from the Cow Chip cookie store in Pioneer Square in Seattle. I miss those cookies!

Homemade chocolate chip. Mmmmmm. My grandmother used to make fabulous chocolate cookies w/chocolate icing, they just melted in your mouth -- I have the recipe but not the skill; somehow they just don't come out the same.

Ooooo...this will be a toughie.

I think, though, based on the combination of buttery delicious taste and sentimentality, that Spritz Cookies the way my mom makes them (her recipe doesn't work in my cookie press! ;( :nono: :errrr: ) are my favorite. Particularly the long cookie sticks with the ends dipped in chocolate. NOM.

Bought cookies Oreo's, homemade cookies Chocolate Chip.

Chocolate chip...

Homemade peanut butter cookies :lickout:
2nd favorite- simple butter cookies

911 Chocolate emergency cookies (dark chocolate cookies with vanilla icing), chocolate crinkle cookies, and this makes me sound crazy but I love chocolate chip cookies but really love them without the chocolate chips.

My mom or older sister's chocolate chip cookies with walnuts! Second choice would be snickerdoodles or molasses ginger cookies, also made my my mom or older sister! :lickout:

Chocolate chip or Oreo

Nutter Butter wafers. love love love them.

I have always loved making cookies and consider myself a pretty good baker, but none of the cookies I have ever made call my name
like these. Go figure.

Homemade chocolate chip cookies and Oreos are my favorites.

I love homemade chocolate chip and white chocolate macadamia nuts. :D

Salted caramel macarons.

Oatmeal apricot with walnuts (no raisins, I make them with dried apricots--yummy!)

chewy chocolate chip!

Oatmeal raisin w/ some dark chocolate chip chunks in it !

Why are you all torturing me with all these food threads??!!

Oatmeal Raisin! :lickout:

Double chocolate peppermint cookies that Mara posted the recipe for, Martha Stewart's lime meltaway cookies, snicker doodle.

Christmas cookies! Somehow they just taste better at that time of the year. Sugar cookies, chocolate chip, ginger.. yum.

Mmmmmmm these all sound delicious!

Oatmeal, sometimes with raisins, sometimes without. :cheeky:

Oh, and my mother's butter cookies with sprinkles. I make them every Christmas and eat a gazillion without guilt!

Oatmeal Butterscotch and Chewy Sugar cookies, but only if they are homemade by me :wink2:

A warm, chewy, homemade chocolate chip cookie. I also love pumpkin cookies that are almost cake-like.

Homemade: Chocolate Chunk with pecans or whatever OR my mom's m&m chocolate chips.
Storebought: "Cookies by Design" cookies or Milanos/Oreos.

Oh, definitely peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. I also really love macadamia nut cookies.

Those fudge shoppe cookies are perfect for dipping into hot tea....the chocolate melts so perfectly.

I usually only like the chewy, soft kind of cookies while FI loves the hard kind.

If a sugar cookie is made right, I'm all over that.

ooohhh and my friend made these almond cookies once with all these almonds all over the place and hot damn, they were absolutely insane.

Homemade choc chip w/pecans.

Apricot squares are yummo too!
