My mom makes a really tasty amaretto cake. That one is probably my favorite, but her chocolate is pretty awesome too!

Also, for anyone who has a Portillos (mostly IL/midwest), Portillo's chocolate cake. It is SO moist and delicious!

Now THIS is a thread I can get behind. Pie doesn't hold a candle (hehe!) to cake. I like yellow cake with vanilla icing...the more icing, the better. My favorite type is the really sugary store-bought icing that comes in a can...I've been known to eat it with a spoon. So many people hate it, and that makes me sad, because I can't get enough of it!
