Apricots and mango''s are a close second...

cheers--Sharon

I ammend mine, I think I do not like any fruit. I have faves too...

love the papaya with lime (here here!), mango good but can be "hairy"
love White peaches and rainier cherries too
Agree mushy fruit stinks
Hate underripe stuff

Mymulan: Mangosteen-I have the juice, supposed to be amazing for you, but never had the actual fruit.

I was just in China...does anyone know the name of white fruit, texture of watermelon, has little black specks and tastes like a more tasteless kiwi? I think they called it Royal Fruit, and said it supposedly is quite good for you

DF I love lychee''s but only at the restaurants where they have already been peeled.

This local Sinaporean place we adore has a lychee martini and also a lychee spritz which is YUM. Greg says they look like eyeballs and is entirely icked out by them.

For regular everyday fruit, right now I am on a green grape kick (have to be very firm, no soft grapes here!) and also cherries!! I never thought I liked them much, but I have been eating a bowl a day for weeks now. YUM!

Freash Georgia peaches, even better if you can get them from a roadside stand....yummy!

My favorites are cantaloupe and bing cherries. Both are in season right now, too! I''ve been eating both like crazy. In the fall, I go crazy for apples. I live near an orchard and I go there several times every season and buy heaps of fresh picked apples. My best choice are the Jonagolds.

I like just about everything, but my fav is a nectarine. I LOVE them!
For you watermelon lovers, try it with a mixture of lime juice and honey drizzled over it, it''s heaven!

I love mangos, the yellow kidney shaped ones, but lately, due to heartburn, I can''t eat them.
I love cherries with salt and not too cold.
I also love guyabana(is that how it''s spelled?). Also known as soursop. I love the drink as well.
My husband loves the durian, which looks very similar to the soursop.
When we first got married, his aunt gave us one and I threw it out, thinking it was a rotten soursop!!!
He was kind of mad.

I am not used to eating the durian fresh, but in his country they make a desert with sweet rice, beans and durian and coconut milk that is out of this world!!!
Oh, and I like lychees too.

Before I came to live in the USA we lived in Durban, South Africa, which is on the east coast of Africa on the Indian Ocean. We used to stop at the side of the road and buy bunches of huge, juicy lychees. We would each eat a whole bunch - oh my goodness, I can just taste them right now!! Thanks for eliciting such a wonderful memory.

There are so MANY fruits which I like... lost count already..

China lychee with small seed are sweet & yummy.....
but...I LOVE Durian...

There are so many names for different type of durians in Malaysia as they are the best like D24, XO, red prawn, owl..etc...like it when the seeds are small with loads of fleshy yellowish meat...

My aunt has relatives staying at muar and they have a durian farm. the last time they went back and took loads of durians back for everyone to eat .

Thai durians though look big with meaty flesh but lack the taste and pungent smell.

unfortuately now have to cut down as age catches up with you... too rich and ''heaty'' for me...

Chilled longans, lychee and rambutans!! oooohh...to die for on a hot and humid day.

Durians too!! The bitter sweet variety is yummy and almost like ice cream, if you don''t mind the strong smell.
