Pickles. I have to eat pickles. And usually later in the day I''ll want a caesar salad or chinese food.

Don''t drink too much.... But in the rare event that I do end up with a hangover- lots of water.

Oh my. I can''t imagine coping with a hangover and vegitarianism all in the one morning! Butte fried mushrooms, maybe? I love that. Gailey is absolutely right about it needing to be greasy and calorie laden. The morning after the night before is not the ideal time to start detox!

I haven''t had a hangover for a very long time. Since before I was pregnant. Must be somewhere between three and four years. I still remember them vividly, though. I do like to drink to excess, I just don''t have much opportunity these days!

Fried in butter!

I knew I shouldn''t have read all these drink threads last night. I woke up with a terrible migriane at 5:00 am and I can''t say I even had the voddy before I went to bed.

I love to drink, it just hates me back so much I daren''t do it much these days. High days and holidays.

Eating always helps me feel better, especially something greasy! Also taking some excedrin for the headache and drinking a ton of water.

Though it takes more than 5 drinks to get me hungover, so I don't experience it often. Hate the headache though! I can usually tell if I'm going to be hungover - if I have to pee a lot while drinking, I will be dehydrated the next day and hundover. If I'm peeing once every 30 or 40 minutes, I know I'm in for it whether I switch to water or not

Alka-seltzer works hangover miracles, seriously.

Yup, and BEFORE you go to bed. Plus tons of water.

Then, a nice eggs-and-chicken-sausage brunch the next day, perhaps with a Bloody Mary.

Haven''t had a hangover in a while, because I just drink a lot of water in between alcoholic drinks on party nights and that seems to do the trick.

Nice cold beer for breakfast.

Is that how all Icelanders approach a hangover?

Yeah, goes well with hákarl (putrefied shark cubes).

Tons of water the night before, if I remember. Plan B consists of aspirin, greasy food or carbs (ideally, greasy carbs!), and as much water as I can handle the next morning

Dioralyte. It is THE cure. Hair of the dog works wonders if possible. Then I do whatever the hangover tells me to do. The hangover wants pizza and tv? The hangover gets pizza and tv

ROTFL! That is *so* true. It''s exactly what works.

I''ve never actually been drunk. Tipsy, but not drunk. I''m not a big drinker.

Nothing cures a hangover like a burger and fries with LOTS of water. Without fail.

600 mg of ibuprofen and a gigantic glass of water before going to bed after a night of imbibing. Ideally, stay hydrated the next day and get in a workout or long walk to help flush out the previous night''s indulgence. I used to do the McDonald''s greasy thing but found it made me feel worse in the long run. These days I do fruit and granola.

A spicy V8 followed by water and aspirin.

That sounds like a bloody mary...or I would make it one!

I''ve never had a hangover. Definitely have been drunk, but I''m immune to hangovers for some reason.

This was my favourite when I use to drink (not so much anymore) and if the hamburger didn''t work, then I would move on to slices of tomato with as much tobasco sauce sprinkled over the top as possible.
