It seems when you are looking for a good princess cut Diamond everybody has a different idea of what ideal is. There are some that know what they are talking about and more who don''t. That is why I am curious why someone would tell me that a 70/70 or 69/69 table/depth is the best for a Princess diamond. This does not seem as though this Diamond would become an AGS0 Princess. I truly have no clue.

do you think this happens only when you're looking for a good princess cut?

i'll admit, it is even harder to find someone knowledgable enough about princesses than it is rounds, but the point is, 'ideal' gets thrown around a lot in the diamond industry. 'ideal', isn't just about table and depth percentages and you won't be able to determine what is ideal by using them. paul slegers of infinity diamonds is one of the few who are cutting ags 0 ideal princesses. if you want a princess that is graded ideal, you will have to go to his website and look for a list of dealers.

The reason I use table percentages is because that is what these companies use. You ask them about crown angles and such and they freak out making sure you know how unimportant they are, some companies I have talked to refused that there were any AGS0 Princess Diamonds out there... I do hope to purchase a Diamond cut by Paul Slegers I am waiting for some new inventory to come out.

have we been going to the same jewelry stores?
