What is this Diamond ring?

I have in my possession what appears to be a diamond ring set in 90% platinum, but I am not sure. Inside the ring, it says PT900, 51 and 102. I've done my research and found that PT900 means 90% platinum, but can't figure out what the 51 and 102 mean. The ring appears to have one large diamond, and multiple smaller ones around the edge, and since it's set in platinum it gives me the impression that it really could be a diamond. I have almost no information about this ring so I was looking for advice. Here is a photo of the ring. Can anyone help? I'm new here, so sorry if I posted in the wrong place.

Only those numbers. I don't know anything about diamonds, but from what I saw online, I was thinking that maybe the centre stone is 1.02 and the combined weight of the smaller stones might be 0.51. I really don't know how these sorts of things work so need all the help I can get. If you are right, and the total carat weight is 1.02, and it is set in platinum, how much would this kind of ring be worth?

Lovely ring.
Have a look on eBay, sold listings, for diamond cluster rings to give yourself a better idea of market value.
Try and measure the diameter of the centre diamond. If it’s around 5mm, that .50 carats but if it’s around 6.5mm, then that’s 1 carat.

Can you post a pic of it on your finger, straight down view, and tell us your finger size? That would allow a better guesstimate on what the carat weight *may* be.

No idea on worth/value - an independent appraiser can tell you that once he/she assesses the details of the ring, it’s confirmed they are diamonds, how well they are cut, color, clarity,overall age, provenance if any, etc. Anything else would be playing darts in the dark to suggest a value ... and I don’t play darts.

The diameter of the centre stone is roughly 7 to 8mm.

I understand that it's hard to say a value without knowing the exact specifics, but I have no idea how much this kind of thing is worth. I am a complete novice when it comes to this kind of thing. Am I looking at a few hundred dollars range, or a few thousand dollars range? If it's real of course.

I’ve taken heirloom jewelry to my jeweler to be examined for authenticity and to determine if the stones are genuine. They didn’t charge me to do that.
I was pleasantly surprised at what had been sitting in the family jewelry box for decades that no one had worn in forever...lol! It was like finding a small treasure chest!

That is good but where you should take it is to an appraiser if you want to sell the ring. They can create an official appraisal to supplement the ring since you do not have any certificates/receipts for the ring.

Excellent news.
What you really need is a written appraisal or lab report. This might cost you $200 or so, but definitely worth getting if you want to sell it.
There is a huge price variation possible depending on colour, clarity and cut of the diamonds, the centre one in particular.
But let’s say it’s around 1.50 carats, James Allen has diamonds of that size for prices between $5,000 and $20,000. So you can see why it’s important to get a detailed appraisal / lab report AND it makes it easier to sell.

Don't sell it to a pawn shop, because they'll give you - at best - 1/4 of its ("retail") value. Same with a jeweler. Then they'd sell it for more than double what they paid you.

You'd be better to get an independent appraisal and then sell it yourself for something like 60-85% of the appraised value.
