First I am not anti-police and I have meet some awesome officers in my area but this is just crazy.

There was an adult male who was offering kids age 8-12 cigarettes.
A couple kids took them but a few other others did the right thing and went and told their parents.
They called the cops.
26 hours later a cop comes out to take a report and just says if it happens again to call again.
We know its not someone from our building and have no idea where this guy is from and lets face it anyone who offers young kids cigarettes does not have anything good in mind.
26 hours to come out and take a report.

Creepy.
I guess as with all things, not until “something happens” can / will the Police take action.
Giving out cigarettes to kids isn’t a crime “per see” but it’s the undertone of why an adult man wants to engage with kids. Hopefully your building has CCTV and “if” God Forbid something untoward happens they’ll be needing that.

Hmmmm......seems quite generous with the cost of cigarettes these days.
