SC..., its not that simple...

There are many other factors that must be taking into account!

To name a few...: shape of rough, type of material, inclusions (internal and external) etc..., etc...
 
Well, yes, but say - the rough is equally suited to each selected shape and all other factors being equal.
 
I think one of the most complicated cuts is the DeBeers Centenary which weighs 273.85 carats
The Diamond was cut by Gabi Tolkowsky...

Its not a cut which should be adapted onto small Diamonds...

asschers are harder than RB too cut well and often impossible to get EX/EX pol/sym on.
The placement of the steps is the hard part.
