What is the general rule of thumb for a loop clean diamond? VVS2 F?

For a non-professional grader.

TIA

In a VVS2 I would think you couldn''t easily find the inclusions unless you were a pro

You mean loupe clean??

This is a confusing post.

Loupe clean is one thing.
VVS2 is another.

And what does "for a non-professional grader" mean - as though there is a set of meanings for these terms for professional graders and another set for non-professional graders?

Perhaps you could clarify your question.

Also color has nothing to do with whether the diamond is loupe clean. I''m assuming loupe clean means that you can''t see the inclusions through a 10x loupe. I would venture to say that an average untrained observer could not see VVS2 inclusions at 10x. I know I can''t with my VVS2. I''m not sure whether VS1-VS2 inclusions can be seen by an untrained observer.

If I am understanding correctly, the average person is likely to find a VVS2 pretty much clean even with a loupe.

Unless you have extraordinary vision, you won't see anything in a VVS2 with a loupe. I can't with my VS1.

My pear is a VVS2 and humm... I have a LOUPE at home and have spend at least 1 hour trying to find anything in my stone and I just cant. I gave up after my head started to throb!
It's completely loupe clean to me, looks squeeky clean! :)
I doubt that you'll find anything honestly...
