Hello, I''m a new user here and I''m hoping I''m posting this in the right place, otherwise sorry :)
Anyway I''m fishing for ering and I''m having more luck in understanding certain things thanks to this site. I came to the conclusion to go ahead with James Allen custom rings as I can pick exactly wwhat I think is right. I was looking for ring with sidestones and I found few that I like. They all look similar but they have so difference between them. Pave, common prong and Channel is the one I like and would like some input on how are these different. Are there any pros or cons to picking one over the other, like maybe how visible are the side stones, or how likely are they to fall out, anything that makes one different than the other is good info to me.
Here they are

Common Prong http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/settings-with-sidestones/Platinum-Common-Prong-Ring.html

With pave the diamonds are set with little beads of metal. You will lose diamonds on occassion and will need to maintain the ring, it is part of owning pave. It is not the style of ring for heavy wear.

Common prong is more secure. There can be issues with the girdles of the diamonds in one ring eating into the prongs of a neighbouring ring, though, so this is something to consider if you have a common prong e-ring.

Channel set is the most secure but obviously has the most metal too. No worries about maintenance and damage to other rings. But it is a less blingy look.
