I''ve been cruising around eBay looking for a white gold neck chain and ran across one that looks nice... but the write-up says it is "GUARANTEED GENUINE 18K PLATINIUM GOLD"! It''s a snake chain, made in Italy... supposedly "solid" gold (not plated, etc.) But this little country girl has never heard of "platinium gold".

I wonder if maybe the seller means it''s "white gold" (vs yellow gold) and he just no speaka da English so good??! Anyone?

THANKS!

Lynn

I know... I thought of that, but he clearly says the gold is not plated!

Unless someone knows what "platinium" may be -- I''m thinking that maybe he just uses "platinium" (misspelled "platinum") to show up in a "search", for people looking for a white metal.

That''s my Guess of the Hour, anyway!

I think he just got his wording mixed up or did it on purpose to get people''s attention???
