Hi! Palladium is a member of the platinum family, but is not platinum. It's gaining popularity as an alternative to white gold and platinum. It doesn't have the heft of platinum, and is about the same weight as white gold. It doesn't need to be rhodium plated like white gold either, as it is naturally white.
Here is a thread I had going that has some good info, and links to some other threads on Palladium. Link!!!
Thank you for your reply...I am super allergic to WG (I get rashes and blisters on my fingers from WG but am not allergic to Platinum) so what is the metal content in Palladium?
From what I''ve read 950 palladium (not to be confused with palladium white gold) is 95% palladium and 5% ruthenium ususally. Ruthenium is also what is commonly used in 950 platinum.
