That makes us so crazy? I seriosly have been reading and reading posts on this sight untill I just can''t look at the computer screen anymore. I just can never learn enough about them. My boyfriend thinks I am crazy. And I thought I was until I found this site because I never met anyone who felt the way I do about diamonds, until now. Any day now I will be getting my e-ring. I have seen it twice now and I literally think about it all day long. Is that normal??

You''re probably asking the wrong crowd.

Speaking for myself, I can''t say its not normal because I have become completely obsessed as well. It''s horrible. I''m addicted to PS and to learning as much about diamonds and jewelry that I can.

It all started so innocently ... my bf and I were merely shopping for engagement rings and now this ...

Hello Pricescope. My name is Sparkalicious and I am addicted to diamonds and to all forums within which they are discussed.

Shameful, really but ... let''s us enjoy our indulgent sin. It''s too fun not too!

I have always loved them but you are right, now it is an addiction. I leave work, go home and read more. There is also sooo much to learn and I am really only focusing on princess cuts. I could look at them all day long. When we go to the jeweler I have to practically be pulled out of there. This waiting is torture!

Diamonds are mysterious and a very blind subject for most consumers. For those of you who have become habitual attendees to Pricescope you have found your mecca of information which you can share with friends, famiiy and loved ones. Its not just about smoke and mirrors, its also about romance, science, nature and finance. How could an intelligent person fail to be intriqued buy some or most of what you can learn here. When you talk about diamonds, you''ll find people want to know more. They will simply wonder how you became so smart on the subject. That''s a lot of satisfaction all by itself.

Besides, this is a community based on a very rare combination of open sharing between consumers, sellers and independent experts. Each one of us, from the lowest novice to the top selling pros, has a point of view that nearly everyone will show respect for. You can count on the fingers of one hand the number of similar venues where there is so little show of favoritism, profiling or bias. Few of us know who anyone else really is and by the way communication is conducted here, it seems few of us care. If the world''s people acted the way we have done on Pricescope we''d be in a lot better shape globally.

Don''t worry over your current additiction to diamonds or to Pricescope. You don''t need a prescription or permission.

I do understand, I have never met anyone obessed about diamonds and rings like I am, I stumbled across this site surfing the net, now I come here more often then any of the other sites I go to, its like an addiction. I was quite content with my 1 ct princess cut until now...I really would like to upgrade the diamond and have it set in a beautiful setting, but I cant right now, money doesnt allow...so I dream thru all the beautifuls pictures of everyone elses jewerly.

I do that too. Obviosely in my dream world I would have a princess more in the 2-3 carat range but realistically it is just not possible. The stone that we got for my e-ring is beautiful. I love it. I wish I had more info on it but I don''t. I actually posted about it but did not receive many reponses due to lack of more information. It''s a 1.23 very good cut, F color, SI2 with a twinning wisp. The only numbers I have are 6.05 x 6.06, depth 70%, table 72%. Other than that I really don''t have more info. But I do love it because it looks amazing and sparkles a lot. I would have loved a bigger stone, but its just not possible. My boyfriend actually said wow it looks really big on your hand. Anything else would be too big. I love him but the jeweler and I just looked at eachother and laughed. I am one of those who believes that a diamond can never be too big. But I have learned that you have to be happy with what you have and you can''t waste time thinking about what you don''t.

I often ask myself that question. What is it about these stones that make us just so happy when we see them.

I think you either get it or you don''t. I know most people like diamonds, but to love them as much as we do? We are definitely different. I don''t know anyone in ''real life'' who loves them like I do..... which is why I am glad I found Pricescope!!
