thanks everyone. so does that mean that you could only get an eyeclean stone if you bought it in person...because from online it would be a lot harder to tell if you thought you could see inclusions to the naked eye?
In short no. If you are buying from a quality vendor, such as one of the better one''s here on Pricescope, they''ll tell you if a stone is eye clean. They''ll send you scopes and enlarged views to show exactly where any inclusions are and they can be trusted.Date: 4/17/2006 4:43:44 PM

I would trust a recommended PS vendor to tell me if something is eye clean, HOWEVER, I would make sure to find out whether they''re talking about trade standards of eyeclean (viewing from 10-12 inches away or so) or MY standard of eyeclean (2-3 inches from my eyeball).![]()

Hi........There are likely multiple ways to explain this, but for me:
2. Mind Clean means that even if there are inclusions, your mind wouldn''t dwell on them. In other words, if having inclusions, even those you could not see would cause you to doubt your stone, it''s not mind clean, because your mind would dwell on the inclusions, thus reducing the pleasure you get from your diamond.
This is how I would explain it. Other''s might chime in differently.
