What is a fair price for an OEC 5 stone?

With the excitement on antique stones out there I want to jump on the band wagon too but don't want to spend a lot. What would be a fair price for this? It's a 1.2ct, seller says D color VS clarity. We could probably downgrade that to a F/G/H/I/J SI category. They are OEC stones. I'd like to stay in the $1000 range.

I'd go up to 1500 as those are really stones.

How'd you come up with those so fast? Fantastic comparisons Gypsy! Hopefully I can stay at my budget as I think I would need to change out the setting so I'm factoring that into cost. It's a size 8 and I need 4.5. Yes, it looks like a beauty.

No girls I didn't get it Boo Hoo !! The seller initially took the ring off auction as no one showed any interest and that was at $999. I told her I was interested so she put it back on auction., she wanted to get at least $999 and that's what I wanted to pay. OH well, I'm sticking to my budget.
