No clue...I have never heard of this... Guessing they have their own grade of stones, but it''s very confusing as its not the norm... Doesn''t translate well, nor is it an industry standard.... Ya got me...Date: 7/27/2009 12:17:24 AM

I was in a store and was told, ''Those are our B grade diamonds, and here is our C grade diamonds..''
What does that even mean?

They rate how hot the bride is.
If she''s drop dead gorgeous she gets an A diamond, and so on..
Well, that explains why I got an AA diamond!Date: 7/27/2009 5:20:54 AM

It means absolutely nothing. It is an "in house" grading system using a range of qualities under a specific category like "A" "B" "C"Date: 7/27/2009 12:17:24 AM

Hmmm It IS confusing. This is a store that is a chain store (several locations within the state), but they are not a B&M really. I consider them a cross between a B&M and a whiteflashDate: 7/27/2009 9:02:45 AM

I''ve known large chain stores throughout my career who used a similar system. It confuses the public. It''s bad for everyone.
One company used ''A'' through ''AAAA'' but the very best grade was SI2. Their ''special grades'' were all ''imperfect.''
