Awww! Please make that one of her in your shirt your avatar. Please oh please! Yes, your FCDs are gorgeous, yes you take amazing photos of your FCDs, but who can compete with a bird sticking out of your shirt? How many people can say that?!! I think that will have more people wondering what they're looking at then a bunch of amazingly colored stones...

I don't know.
Avatars are so small.
I can't even tell what several avatars are here.
A pic that was understandable when 4 inches long can be undecipherable at 1/2 inch.

I totally agree. The avatar size limits her beauty as none of her gorgeous colour comes through. Hmmm

If it's cold when we're out and about she'll disappear down my shirt or she may crawl down one of my arms.
If the sleeves are big enough she'll crawl out at my wrist to see what's going on.

Often I'll be talking to someone who doesn't know there's a bird in me and she'll be curious who it is so she'll peak her head out.
The person I'm talking to will be very surprised.

If it's really cold she'll make her way to the middle of my back because she knows I can't reach her to pull her out.
Then when we get home I'll have to take my shirt off to retrieve her.

Such a goofy bird.

She's precious Kenny! People who haven't lived with and loved a bird don't realize just how much personality these little "tweeties" have! I grew up with a parakeet who thought my grandmother's beehive hairdo was her nest and whenever grandma visited, Budgie would nose dive right in and snuggle down...strangely enough, grandma didn't seem to mind!

Kenny,

I love your birdie's colors, but I've always thought that the avatar photo looked too much like those dead-bird specimens stored away in museums after long-ago collection trips. I had to look carefully at the bright, beady little eye to realize that was a live bird, not a dead one.

Perhaps you can fashion a tiara for her using some of your FCDs. Her gray head would set them off beautifully!

Then it would really become a test of your love, huh? :Up_to_something:

Well, there's animal poop-processed coffee beans that make for expensive cups of coffee. Maybe bird poop-processed FCD would be value-added, as well!
