Now that's my kind of dog! The breeder of my Newfoundland and I were swapping stories and she told me of a dog owner whose dog had eaten much of a flight of stairs. Apparently she was married to an architect and proudly told him the dog hadn't done any structural damage.

Haven, that was a seriously funny thread and great to see again. It's the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread!!Haven|1297397341|2849074 said:These stories are great!
The dog eating the wedding cake has got to be one of the best pictures ever.
My little Bailee massacred several fall woodcreatures in 2009. It was a huge tragedy. I posted the mock article that I sent out to friends about it here on PS:

Other than that, the only things she's ever destroyed (that I can recall) were some books right before the woodcreature incident. We obviously weren't completely finished training her back then. She's a little angel now.
When our kitties get hungry they gnaw on just about anything--cords, plastic, my handbags. We made treat toys for them just a few months ago to stop the habit, and it's working thus far. We took old water bottles and cut some tiny holes in them, and we put a handful of kibble in each at night. They eat a raw diet otherwise, so the kibble is a treat to them. They spend hours pushing those bottles around with their noses trying to get the kibble out.

He kept searching the house for it and would get up during the night to look for Piggy. I then went out to Petsmart and bought a new one. I now keep several of the same favorite toys just in case.
