Lol.... I got excited too! DH and I are heading up north tomorrow to target shoot out in the woods. So, lately I have been shooting zombie targets! Gotta be prepared in case of zombie apocalypse!

Some goodies from my bargain basement low-end colored gem collection.
The whole pile was under $100 on... are you holding your nose? ... JewelryTV!
Nobody can call me a snob ever again.

I was curious what these stones were so the good folks over on Color Stones forum helped me identify most of them.



I think the tiny blue one in the front on the left is a sapphire.
It does nice things with light.

Here's one of my latest pictures... cropped then sized down a little. These dragonflies are EVERYWHERE right now and look like humming birds... it's longer than my middle finger. No little spidey either, still surprised he caught it!

I have no idea about the quality of the individual stones.
Buyer beware.
This was just a cheap grab bag, which is fine for louping, learning and photographing for fun.
