What happens when you finish your bucket list?

cmd2014, my condolences to you in such a difficult time. XX

I think I am confusing a bucket list with having a passion in life. I guess a bucket list is potential passions.

Rainwood, well said!

MRBXXX. I know where you are coming from, having to give up a sport you love, losing the thrill, the culture and the community. (Mine was horses). I imagine snowboarding was incredibly exhilarating!

You just never know when something new will appear in life, something you would never even think of to put on a bucket list, then suddenly there it is and you are in the flow.

I actually do have some things....learning more about wine, becoming fluent in French, and going to the Jurassic coast fossil hunting. Oh, and seeing the Northern Lights. But at my age I’m feeling a little lazy LOL maybe this thread will be motivational!

I once researched trips to the Arctic and Antarctic for somebody. Very interesting destinations! The Northern Lights are easy to see in Alaska, any Nordic country, over Russia during the summer. I would recommend a flight over Antarctica over the new year to have 24 hours of lights, if seeing penguins from an airplane is your thing. These are things I wouldn't necessarily do, considering how much it costs, but they might appeal to you!

cmd2014, I don't think I can say anything to help you through the pain, but I agree wholeheartedly with your advice and will try to live my life in the way that you suggest.

Thank you all for your concern. I am ok(ish). Putting one foot in front of the other and trying to get through. To avoid hijacking the thread, when I'm ready, I'll start a new one to explain what's going on.
