I hope someone replies and says "you idiot you''re typing it in wrong" but I can''t seem to access GOGs website. It comes up as a renew this domain page.

The sky is falling! The sky is falling!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I am trying to spend someone elses 500K and this is a very bad time for GOG to be down!!!

Well if you have that much to spend...

There''s an amazing 5 carat cushion I drool over and it''s only just over $100K so I can only imagine what they''d be getting

Or did you mean $50K not $500K because good grief that''s a house.

They probably forgot to renew their domain name in a timely fashion. I bet it''s back up by the end of the day. I put a deposit down with them on Sat and I''m not worried.

I wasn''t worried they went out of business, I realize they have an off-line presence. Just miss being able to view the eye candy.

Yeah there is another thread over in hangout - most likely haven''t renewed their domain.
Honey, I have emailed Jon and told him we are trying to get someone to spend 200k in his shop and to get it together!!!

When I saw this thread I checked and immediately called their store. They were unaware of the situation and are now rushing to get it fixed. Nothing to worry over as far as business goes, but their URL certainly has high value after all the work they have put into getting traffic to it over the years.

I''m sure Jonathan will be grateful for the heads up his customers and friends gave him. Sometimes the little things slip between the cracks.

Hooray! Yeah, I wasn''t calling from England, much as I love your videos, Jon.

Might have to clear your cookies or you cache or one of those things. It''s working fine for me.

Strange, I''ve cleared my cookies again and again already. Still having trouble trying to access their website.

Maybe restart your browser, or your computer? Not sure.

I still can''t access it.

It''s up for me! Looks like a few links on the site aren''t working, though. I''m sure it will be back to 100% in no time!

Weird ... at home when I wrote the above I could access it no prob. Here at work some comps can and some comps can''t.

The location that has my server whom we just called said to give it a couple of hours and it should all be back to normal. We''re workin on it.

Probably a nameserver issue. Your computer wants the numeric address for your webpage however nobody really wants to type in a number vs your stores name :).

So there are master nameserver computers that can make the translation from goodoldgold.com to 216.168.131.105. These servers are constantly updated but it still takes time for new entries to make it onto all the various servers.

I would suspect if anyone is still having trouble you could bypass the nameserver and reliably get to the site by using this link:

http://216.168.131.105/

Those of you having trouble might try

http://216.168.131.105

in case it''s just a DNS problem.

Magic! Three cheers for zerj.

Just finally a topic getting closer to my area of expertise so I could finally answer a question :)
