Can you please help me tell if this image demonstrates excellent light return? What about symmetry and shallow vs deep?

not sure if the image upload is working so here is the link just in case

There's some leakage. What are the numbers.

Table:
Depth:
Pavilion Angle:
Crown Angle:

Hi Gypsy thanks for the fast reply!

Table: 56%
Depth: 61.9%
Pavillion Angle: 40.8%
Crown Angle: 34.5%

There is slightly less robust light return at 5:00 along the star-bezel facet meets and under the table. The increased TRef obstruction there might indicate the adjacent mains (bezels too?) are somewhat steeper than the others. It seems to have been a conscious cutting decision, given consistency around the rest of the clock.

Hi John thank you so much for your explanation. I see the area you are referring to; why would a cutter decide to do such a thing, and overall is this an excellent or very good idealscope image; should I rule out this diamond based on the idealscope?

Any number of reasons. The clarity plot might give clues. Or it may have to due with crystal structure and how those facets were able to run or not run on the wheel. Or another reason simply not in evidence here.

The light return is excellent.

Thank you so much for the advice! :)

John gave you the best answer. I think it's got great performance and great numbers.
