In a well cut stone, the values will be on the high-ish side and you should look for the stone to be a beautiful one when you examine it. The ray-tracing programs don''t give numbers which correspond to beauty or even to the exact diamond, but they do approximate the results of direct measurement on highly transparent stones with few inclusions. If you are an engineer and depend on numbers, you are going to need a deeper assessment than a Firetrace. If you are screening out poor performance and understand how personal the ideal of beauty is, then the Firetrace may prove useful in the decision making process.
