I would think that means a blemish ( something on the surface of the diamond) which isn't of significance, what is the clarity grade of the diamond?

oh sorry i read it wrong, there is written

invisible external details...

it is a 0.77 carat VVS1, E color, for 4200 usd

here is the report

Ok, VVS1 there should not be an issue, one of the experts may be able to clarify.

Also don't you mean insignificant?

Well, it is a bit of confusion in their words. If it is "invisible" then how did they see it? If it is only something so small that they can see it under magnification, then you won''t ever see it when the diamond is being worn. However, and what troubles me a little, is why did they mention this at all?
Maybe the VVS1 is caused by this single little tiny external mark. On the other hand, maybe this tiny external blemish ought to make the diamond VVS2 or VS1, but they were hedging on giving such a lower grade. You need an expert to examine the diamond or you will never know what was meant or what the clarity actually is. Without this, you can''t discuss the value.

Ok, I would think it is just mentioned for the sake of completeness and is not an issue, David or one of the other experts might be able to tell you more.

It could be but hard to say without images and as it is said to be h&a, images of the hearts and arrows are needed to, is the diamond with a store jeweller? Also IGI are said in some cases to grade more leniently than GIA or AGS, this page explains further
