There are a bunch of little specs around the edges of the stone...which I can't tell are printer marks or inclusing ticks...

Was this page faxed? The inclusions plot usually doe snot show all that well on fax copies.

From what I can see, there is not much going on aside the specs around the girdle and a small someting right in the center. The one question that comes to mind is : are those feathers (or whatever) braking the surface nera the girdle? If so, the thin edge can become too fragile for one's peace of mind. Otherwise... ca you have the stone inspected (by an apprairse or jeweler) before the return period runs out?I'd probably do that...

It would be greta to obtain an even better price on this - even non-ideals get up to 10k for this color&clarity&weight. Would the seller provide some test of light return on the stoen?

This looks like a very nice stone. Price is actually very decent. The SI1 clarity grade should not be a problem. This is probably a sparkler.

The numbers on this stone look fantastic. Have an appraiser confirm that it performs as well as the numbers say it should and that the inclusions aren't feathers breaking the surface......and you've found a winner.




I agree with Russell.....this price is a favorable one. You're breaking the 1.5 carat mark, which carries a bit of premium. The price you gave is very competitive.

Ok, so I go back online today and they raised the price over 700 bucks!

I'd guess they realized there was a typo in the price. If you run a search by cut quality on PS, you'll find that comparable stones are running between $10,100 and $10,300....and that's from vendors who are usually more competitively priced than BN.

never mind...I was looking at the wrong stone...
I really need to stop smoking crack...HA!

So I talked to someone there who pulled the stone and told me it was eye-clean.

However they aren't willing to give me a saron or ideal scope image.
There is a 30 day return policy. Do I just get the ring and then take it somewhere to get it looked at? Does any jewler do this? Or do you need to take it to a special appraiser?

the stone is perfect. with or without crack!


you have "triple 0", that is the highest standard possible for cut grade.


someone was asking about the plot which is too visible? belony.

perhaps someone else will suggest the plot is too much in the middle of the stone? yeah, it should be on the side? left or right?


perhaps someone else want to challenge the authenticity fot the report that you presented all together?


then the next thing they will do is offer some 'nicer' or 'cheaper' stones tru the forum..........
