Can you show me an example? Are the colors (red, blue, green) supposed to be bright and clearly demarcateddemarcated with some pure white spotsspots? Or is it better to have an ASSET where the colors kind of blend together and there are no pure whites spots at all?

ASETs will have either a white or a black background. Whatever the background color, whenever you see that background color in the ASET that's leakage. Some leakage is okay. Especially with ovals.

But you generally want to see a lot of red and green. And very little blue/background color. And you especially want to avoid blue in the bowtie region.

Very few ovals are going to give you a lot of red. They aren't cut for that.

This would be a good oval. Black background

This is very good for an oval though it does show a little blue in the bowtie region. Black background

This is an example of the blue in the bowtie region. This one is white background.
