Basically, is there anything that you''ve wanted to do in life that you haven''t done yet? What is it? Why haven''t you done it?

On the flip side, was there always something you wanted to do, and you did it?

For me, it''s skydiving. I would LOVE to skydive but am ridiculously afraid of heights. I''ve also wanted to backpack through Europe. I haven''t done it because I have too much going on now to take a month off (school, work, family, etc) and I doubt I ever will. But that''s ok, I''ll just visit

There''s a looooong list, but at the tippy top is to have children. Five of them.

Haven''t done it yet b/c we''re waiting until we''re married - which will be in October. So this dream isn''t too far off

I have always wanted to own a horse. I would just love to have a horse of my very own to ride any day, any way I please. I''ve taken a lot of lessons, but it''s just not the same thing when someone is telling you when to trot, when to canter, what to jump, etc. I did ride the same horse every week for about 5 years and it was great being able to connect with him like that and knowing what he was going to do before he did it. Before that and since that horse, I''ve ridden a lot of different horses and it''s sometimes fun, but I miss that connection with one horse.

Also, owning my own house with my own yard. And a dog! I had dogs as kids, but I can''t wait to have one of my own with my DH.

Five children? Yikes. Enjoy the chaos!!! lol

For me: I''d love to go to Europe. Also, I''d love to go to Mexico and Central America and visit all the Mayan/Aztec ruins. For both, the reason I haven''t gone is because of finances. At this time, we cannot afford either. I''m also a bit afraid of going to Mexico & a bit south as I''m not sure if it''s all that safe anymore.

I''ve always wanted to put together my own show. Right now it''s just an idea, but someday maybe it will come true.

I always wanted to have a little girl and I did!

Go to Bora Bora and stay in one of the rooms out on the water with the glass floor.

Why haven''t I? I haven''t won the lottery yet.

Have another baby.. though at 35, i think that dream is dying.. I have tried, but didn''t have much luck so we stopped.

Have done:

Marry my DH.
Buy a plot and build our own home.
Buy my dream ring & and assorted matching bands.

Have not done:

1. Go on a dream holiday/ travel.
2. Be financially secure (according to my albeit, very high standards).
Reason: we are broke from building this house!

3. Start a family.
Reason: Have to finish and move into the house.

4. Start my dream job.
Reason: The recession has taken this away from me, will prob never happen.

I have
gone spelunking
gone away to school
learned to do a front flip- which is a big deal since I can''t even do a cartwheel
sung the national anthem at a Braves Game
gone swimming with dolphins, stingrays, and manatees

I would love to
jump out of an airplane- I dunno if I could make myself do it though... scary!
live in Paris- if I had the money and if the FI spoke french and could find a job i''d do it in a heartbeat.
live in NYC- a distinct possibility if I decide to do the GIA degree there.
own a dog- have to wait until I''m married, only 11 months to go!
write a book- just can''t settle on a topic
see a great white jump

I''m sure there''s more but that''s all I can think of off the top of my head.

I have:
owned my own horses
ridden in an airplane
been to Europe (the UK)

I would like to:
start my massage business (working on it, just gotta put it all together, and do some anatomy review)
breed horses (again, working on it)
own my own farm
go to Africa
learn to drive a stick shift.

What I have done

Owned my own home
Raised and educated a fine DS
Became a nurse and had a rewarding career.

What I want to do

Despite the fact that I hate to travel
I would like to go to Japan.
I have been interested in things Japanese
for many years. But now I would also like to meet
the Japanese rock band I have been mentoring via
email.

I would also like to go on the next Simple Man Cruise
with Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I would like to:
Own my own business - I haven''t done this yet b/c I need DH to finish school and pay that off before we start saving money for it
Get my driver''s license - I hate the idea of a stranger teaching me and DH freaks out whenever I get behind the wheel - he did finally let me drive last week so I think I''m on my way to accomplishing this

Always wanted to get married on a beach somewhere far away - already married, although hoping to have a beach vow renewal!

Go to Antarctica, the Maldives, and take the train to Tibet- DH is game for all these so once school loans are paid off we''ll start going!

I did:
Go to China a few years ago
Went to South America last year

I really want to fly over the Nazca lines in a helicopter, and see Easter Island and Stonehenge with my dad.

Have a 50th wedding anniversary (Just have 51 years to wait) because 50 years is a major accomplishment and to reach it you must have a strong marriage (love, friendship, understanding, communication, etc.).

Design & build a home. (I have experience with CAD so this isn''t too far fetched)

Get a master''s degree. (I''m starting my 2nd quarter of school on Monday)

Get my pilot''s license.

Get really good at shooting.

Learn to sew well enough that I can make curtains, veils, and dresses -- that look really nice.

I always wanted to be a lawyer.

Three more weeks to go at law school and I''m there!

Travel the world. I should have left grad school long ago and gone to teach in a foreign country. I think I''m a ''gyspy'' at heart.

I also want to write books. At least one non-fiction and one children''s book.

I want to learn to sail and own a sailboat. It''s so peaceful and magnificent.

I want to learn to scuba dive and get my cert... also magnificent.

I want to do a triathalon, and a mud run.

Most I haven''t done for financial reasons (been on a student budget), some I just didn''t prioritize, and books are just intimidating. But, I''ll get them done. I''m happy to still have goals that I am excited about :)

I feel fortunate to have experienced so much already, but I still have a long list of things I would like to do:

Finish paying off our house so we can buy a beach condo

Finish my Master''s degree (will start when my little one is 2)

Run a half marathon (don''t think I could handle a full!)

Finish traveling the US...I''ve been to 30 something states and would like to visit them all

Travel overseas. We have family in the UK and would like to visit them, but are waiting until are children are old enough to appreciate and remember the trip

I haven''t been to Vietnam, even though I''ve been meaning to go forever. AND I just spent some time in Singapore, so from there it really would not have been far. I guess I''ve never had the time to do it.

I did just go visit Angkor Wat in Cambodia, though, which has been a goal of mine for half my life.

Win the lottery and live the high life for the rest of my life with my husband by my side, happily, and leave my money to charity.

God, or the state of CA, has not deemed me worthy. Ahh well... back to work.

I would like to see Australia. Haven''t the money, and JD refuses to fly over the ocean. Mom would go with me.

I would like to see a shark. Not just the sharks in zoo aquariums. A Great White. As safely as possible mind you. Haven''t b/c..uh first I''m scared, second, it costs money.

I would like to fly. Like Superman. I think there''s a roller coaster that mimics it..that''s my only hope.

I would like to become a millionaire. I am working (graduated from grad school 4 years ago) and saving as much as I can, while still enjoying life. It will help when DH is out of school and of course, if I got paid more.

I'd also like to learn Hungarian (to communicate with my in-laws and to teach my future children).
I'd like to rescue several pit bulls from BadRap in the bay area.

Starting my own private practice (psychologist - therapy) is a definite goal.. but I just earned my license 6 months ago so I''ll get some experience in an agency first.. but getting it going within the next 5 years would be a great thing :)

I have raised two incredible children with DH''s help.
I went back to university to finish the final two credits to get my BA and then get my teaching accreditation.
I taught English and French at the secondary level for 19 years.
I''ve been married to my sweetheart for 47 years (and hope to make it to 50, at least).
We''ve travelled a fair bit, but I''d love to go to South Polynesia.
I love being a grandma to our two grandgirls.
I learned to play the piano and stopped taking formal training at 18 (heavy school workload).
I''ve enjoyed wearing designer clothing and going to great restaurants, shows, and the theatre.
We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary by travelling in Europe for a month.

What''s left on my bucket list?

Help DH through his prostate cancer treatments, and bring him back to great health.
Keep working on my own medical issues.
After the first two are completed, a trip to Fiji
Visit New York city and ogle all the jewellery in the windows during the first two weeks in December.
Sample more of the fine champagnes (sounds totally frivolous, but I think I''ve earned it

I'm very curious about death.
I haven't done it because I like living, but I am very very curious about death.

Those who know about it first hand don't say much.
