What do you think about this diamond?

http://www.gemfind.net/dealerid_display/diamond_details_cm1.asp?GFDNO=918&Size1=1%2E4&Size2=1%2E6&Shape=Round&Submit=Click+Here+to+Search&Color1=A&DealerLink=794&Color2=I&Clarity2=8&Clarity1=1&Cert=EGL&offset=%2D1&Price1=1&Price2=9000&DetailLink=16145153

Any advice would be helpful? Thanks.

Not enough info to tell about the cut, we need the crown and pavillion angles for this. As this diamond is EGL certed they are normally put in percents on the cert, which aren't as accurate. Also some say that EGL are soft on their grading and this can depend too on which EGL branch did the grading. is it EGL USA, Israel, Antwerp etc? Unless budget is a big concern and you want a larger diamond I would keep looking and centre your search around AGS and GIA certed diamonds, but if you are prepared to investigate this diamond further, see if the vendor has any more info on this diamond such as an Idealscope image or can run a Sarin Report on it. Also because the vendor has said this diamond has an Ideal cut doesn't necessarily mean it is.
