What do you think?

Just bought this with idea of putting gems in the eyes, if possible. What color do you think?

Before I saw that you had a poll, I was going to say Tsavorite. You'd be able to get beautifully clear, crisp stones, where you probably wouldn't with emeralds.

Before I saw the choices I thought of green, so that's my vote.

ETA: I like tsavs for the eyes rather than emeralds (if given the choice), as gemgirl mentioned.

Green will stand out the best. It offers a bigger contrast than red or yellow or black. Blue stones wouldn't match as well. Green.

Definitely emerald/tsavorite so they're bright green. Pretty kitty!

Tsav vote here. Better durability in addition to the clear green tone. Shows up better -- citrine would kinda blend into its own color.

I voted Ruby but really any of the above is a fabulous idea, especially the Spess idea, if they're redder ones. I prefer red stones to green stones.

So far green is leading, I have meeralds. I will have to check around for some small tsavs.
