Hey everyone. I''m a new poster but I''ve been perusing Pricescope and the forums for weeks and I love all your input.

I''d really appreciate your opinion on this stone:

Shape: Round Brilliant
Weight: 1.4
Color: F
Clarity: VVS2
Table: 58%
Depth 60.4%
Crown angle: 34
Pavillion angle: 40.6
Polish: Ex
Symmetry: Ex
Fluor: Medium Blue
Comments: Additional clouds not shown. Surface graining not shown.

Unfortunately, I don''t have pics or IS image. My concerns are the fluorescence and the comments. Do you think medium blue is too much for an F-color stone. Also, what is your experience with the actual appearance and performance of stones with "additional clouds" and "surface graining" that aren''t shown in the diagrams? The cert is GIA so I know the numbers are rounded, but it looks good enough that I''m not too concerned about it. Thoughts?

med flour is fine. personal pref, really. I don''t like it just bc I don''t like blue.

"Additional clouds not shown" is fine for VVS2.

GIA medium blue is not a concern. It should take on a pleasant ''glow'' if you''re in the dark and expose it to UV light. In daylight you may or may not be able to pick up any influence.

Many times a diamond grading report will list pinpoints/additional clouds and surface graining as ''not shown.'' The report is noting that these things exist for sake of thoroughness. ''Not shown'' means they are non-issues. By listing them they indicate that they were taken into consideration but are nothing to worry about.

Thank you both so much for your input. You guys are great!
