I''m not one of the experts but will say that I looked at stones using the AGA Cut Class Chart and a table of 70 to big for me. The cut is a 2B cut class at best with the limited stats that you gave. I am really picky about the cut of stones and this one is questionable without further information.

FYI-According to the AGA preferences of L:W Ratio, a Square Radiant has a L:W Ratio of .95-1.05 and a Rectangular Radiant has a L:W Ratio of 1.5-1.75. Of course, this is all in the eye of the beholder and depends on how square or rectangular you want to get.

With those stats, the stone could be anything from beautiful to terrible. It might be too flat, and it could be a big looking stone with beautiful life. There is no way of knowing unless you get to see it, or are buying it from someone who you trust completely, and who has the expertise in radiants to know what he or she is talking about.

Just in case this SI2 is not among the lucky ones (it might, because the large table doesn''t allow for hiding place for inclusions...), here''s a larger H/SI1 (LINK).

Same question about effective clarity applies, of course - only the higher clarity grade and smaller table get a better chance to shop up clean.

The stats are:

GIA/ H- SI1
Weight: 1.10
Size: 6.86 x 5.71 x 3.54 mm <---- ok, so it is a bit larger and more rectangular ( L/w 1.2:1 instead of 1.13:1)
Depth Percentage 62 %
Table Percentage 65 %
Culet N
Polish GOOD
Symmetry GOOD
Fluorescence NONE

Those number fall well within AGA 1A and the guidelines at Radiantcut.com, but the picture is incomplete by either standard: this one remains to be seen, just like the G/Si2.

I did get in touch with the vendor and was told that it was a nice stone but I''d probably not be happy with the inclusions. Thanks for all the feedback.
