What do you think of this pendant design?

I have a 4.10 carat pink sapphire that my husband is considering setting for me for Christmas. I posted up under colored gems looking for ideas on a design. I know I want it to be a pendant and more than just a simple prong setting. I was toying around during a meeting and came up with a possible design idea. I did it in paint so I could post.....it is a very rough idea. Of course all the sides would be even. I''m not the best in the paint program and I don''t have anything better to use. I''m thinking of doing the curves around the stone in pave. What do you think? Any other suggestions/improvements etc?

I thought a neat pave triangle halo around the stone with a gap between the stone would be cool, I tried to upload idea in word file but it wouldn''t work.

what about doing a pave butterfly (so another bottom piece) and then the stone in the middle as the ''body''.
