I was hoping the experts around here would help me decide if this stone might be worth looking into.

I'm not happy with the clarity but vendor says it is eye clean.

2.014 H SI2 8.02W * 8.08L * 5.01D
Unbranded hearts and arrows
HCA 1.6 ex,ex,ex,vg

AGS: Ex
GIA: Ex
OPT.Sym: ID
Polish: ID
Sym: ID
Table: 56.08
Depth: 62.3
CA: 35.31
PA: 40.65
Girdle: 2.07

Don't know why but the price is phenominal. I'm afraid if I list it someone will grap it before I have a chance to see it.

What do you think of the depth and angles?

Thanks again,
Mrs.T

Hey, Mrs. T. If you're really concerned about someone buying it out from under you, just reserve the diamond, because it's not hard at all to know who has this stone, despite you trying to hide it.

JulieN: It''s not too hard to figure out I know. What gives it away, the fact that it''s H&A or because of the details of the stone? I''ll try to reserve as suggested.

Still, I would be interested in the opinions of the knowledgeable group on PS. I need help.
But obviously thats no secret either.

Thanks,
Mrs T

I wouldn't worry about the SI1 if the vendor says it's eyeclean. Just clarify your personal defintion with theirs

You've got the total weight as 2.14 are you sure it's not 2.014 and an SI2

Mrs.Salvo: You''re right! Thanks for pointing that out.

Description should say:

2.014 H SI2

Thanks!

I think it looks like a beautiful stone. When your dealing with H & A''s folks can start spitting hairs over minor preferences of the angles. I think it''d be worth a look if the price is right for you..

Not my favorite angles but if the price is right.
Do you have heart photos? Ideal-scope photos? or other info?

Yes, the price is not much more than my 1.63 H VS1 I just bought there! It''s because of the SI2 that the price is that low. Tolerance for inclusions is very, very personal and no one can decide that but you. I love the 2 ct. G VS2 that they have, but you are talking about around $10,000 more!

I''m hoping someone can take a look at the Idealscope image of this diamond I''m considering.
There seems to be a ring in the center and I wonder if this is a concern.

I have been trying to attach pictures and keep getting error messages.

We are thinking about going to see Tim this week.

Thanks

looks amazing.

Looks great to me also - I would reserve that puppy ASAP if I were you!

Thanks for responding. I''m starting to get excited.

I''m in the process of holding this and seeing it tomorrow but I haven''t heard back from GOG yet.

I''ll let you know how I make out.
Mrs T

GOG is closed on Sundays and Mondays, so you won''t hear anything before Tuesday.

Here is a copy of the Idealscope.
Does this look like a possible problem in the center?
I''ve read about "fish eye" and thought this might look like it.

There is some leakage but I don''t think too bad.

Hope to hear from some more experts.

Mrs T

Nope, no way! No fisheye!

Thanks for clearing that up for me.
We are hopefully going tomorrow to see this.

Thanks Mrs T
