What do you think of this ebay diamond?

I''m a newbie to this forum and I''m so glad I found it!! Thanks for all the wonderful information. I wanted to know what you thought about this ebay diamond. I''ve included the link below. I want to upgrade my 1 carat ideal cut si1 H color stone to a larger stone. I''ve purchased a lot of jewelry on ebay and have been very happy with every single purchase and appraisals always come back with way more than what I paid. However, the amount of this purchase is huge and I''m not sure what intelligent questions to ask.

Why put that money on the line - it is maybe crazy?
There are GIA I SI2 stones cheaper with the right to have them sent to an appraiser or decent return windows from Pricescope Vendors who will value their reputation because of this board.

That stone has a monsterous table

I agree it''s very crazy to put that kind of money on the table with out doing some home work first. I guess I have my answer and my gut feeling was to stay away. Thanks

Never agree to a restocking fee. Paying for shipping both directions is painful enough although I think it's reasonable for the buyer to bear this. What you want is 100% cash refund for ANY reason. You should have the right to show it to your appraiser, your mother or your astrologer and return it if it doesn’t measure up. 7 days is decidedly tight because of delays that occur during the shipping process and the trouble you may find in scheduling an appointment with an independent appraiser.

I am not going to comment on buying from eBay (enough above). I personally don''t like that diamond and won''t buy it. It isn''t appealing to the eye and the shape is awful - it doesn''t even look round.
