Well, I''m still hoping that I find a nice, cheap, dress of my dreams on ebay or I will be getting my dress made by Milly Bridal. Which I have heard great things about. My dream dress will be something like the Vincenza dress by maggie sottero. I have seen it on ebay but like a size 10 or 12. I''m more of like a 4 or 6. But anywhoo, what do you think? Be honest!

I''m also like 5''2 and pretty thin. But I always wanted a ballgown princess dress. I think having the dress with pleats and no train will make me look not so short and swamped.

Have you tried any on in this style? Sometimes what we like in pictures looks completely different when you put it on. Otherwise it looks pretty!

I think its a beautiful dress. Its not my personal style but it would make a lovely dress for someone wanting that cinderella ballgown style. I love the simple detailing on the top

It''s a beautiful dress, but I definitely think that you should find a store that carries the Vincenza so you can try it on and make sure you still love it on you and that it is THE dress before you buy it online and can''t return it. Good Luck!

Definitely need to try a ballgown style on first, but I think it''s pretty!

Robbie had the Vincenza, if I remember correctly...It looked BEAUTIFUL on her!!! I think it''s a stunning gown!

Hey Moonfaery! I wore the Vincenza for my wedding! I'm 5'5" (I wore flats, sketchers actually, lol) and was about a street size 4 at the time of my wedding, but my dress was a 12. I had to get it taken in a lot, but I think it turned out pretty well. You should definitely try it on before making a decision though. If that's the dress you really want, I'd go for it instead of settling for something else. I got something else at first because I thought Vincenza was out of my price range, but I couldn't get it out of my head and I ended up buying it anyway. I was lucky and found it on ebay, but I still had to sell the first dress on ebay. I don't know where you're at, but I've seen at least one on craigslist and I know there were at least a few other girls on the knot when I was who had the same dress.

ETA: I definitely remember seeing that one of the ebay companies in China makes a copy of the Vincenza. Not sure what the quality is though.

I wouldn''t buy from one of those Chinese companies honestly. I have seen an actually dress and it was made well enough, but the fabric was cheap, practically halloween costume cheap. Anyone who knows anything about fabric or sewing would be able to spot it from a mile away. I really think you will be disapointed with what you get.

I always wanted a ballgown dress as well, but after trying a few, it was clear they wear all going to be wearing me rather than the other way around. I am built exactly as you describe, and even with tall heels, I would have looked squat in a dress with a skirt as full as the one you posted. I switched to a thinner A line and although it is not what I envisioned, it looks much less overwhelming and far more attractive on my petite frame.

Hey, I was just thinking maybe Robbie could sell you her dress!!

Kidding!!! But I must echo everyone else. What you think you want and what actually looks amazing on you, can be miles apart. Again, I always resort to the fact that my finicky fashionista friend thought she knew what she wanted, ended up humoring an aunt by trying on something she would have never chosen, and said dress that she was resisting all day turned out to be "THE ONE".

Personally, I reserve judgment until I see the dress on your ''lil pretty petite body.

DROOL!!!! I think it looks like a princess dress! I had to close my mouth when I saw how pretty it is!!!! You can''t go wrong with that one!

I have talked to Future brides in youandyourwedding.co.uk who have gotten dress from Milly and have been happy. I do admit that I am scared on how it will turn out. I will still keep my eyes open for ebay and other sites. Hopefully I''ll be lucky. I have tried on wedding gows but admit it isn''t my cup of tea. lol. I''m really young looking and I hate the looks I get when I''m trying on dresses. They all think I''m like a child bride. Hello, I''m 21. lol. But I have tried on a lines and were lovely but I really love the ballgowns! It''s what I always visioned. :p
