Both look good so far.

Comeon give me more than that please, ha. Any comments about the inclusions as shown in the photos? Comments on the symmetry?

Nay, I will wait for the idealscope image. :P

Symm looks good so far. Eye-clean you will have to ask JA about it, no point trying to guess if it is from the photos.

So is there anything to be learned from the regular images?

Not much actually. :P

Just maybe the symm of the stone, major leakage problem. Maybe the pros can read more into it, but I am only to this level.

Hi VTX

Both diamonds look to be well worth further evaluation, I would say definitely check with JA''s gemologist carefully concerning the second diamond, there are some large grade setting clouds plotted, in some cases these can interfere with performance so if you go for this one, ask the gemologist to check the diamond out for you concerning this. The first also has a grade setting cloud so same needed there, but it appears the clouds are more abundant on the second diamond. From the photos both look good and from the proportions I don''t anticipate any leakage or other issues but the Idealscope images will tell us more.

Well I just realized their website has a big error on the #2 0.76 stone. It says SI1 but the grading report says SI2. So I guess that one is out of the running.

IS looks good. So you got your stones option narrowed down to just one, that simplifies your decision making, right? :P

If it isn''t eyeclean then yes that one would be, if it is eyeclean then you could still consider it if you were ok with SI2.

Any other comments anyone? Why is this not H&A? Looks like it is to me.

No idea, you will have to see the hearts image to see if it is a H&A and JA would not provide it for the non True-hearts stones.

this is true
i wish they did
and i don''t understand why they cannot provide this service
and i dont take busyness as a really great reason
oh wells..

Then they would be flooded by request for hearts image for their non-H&A stones, what is it for them then to have a H&A line and people trying to find a H&A stone outside that line. Same thing with WF, their ES stones do not have hearts image.

No way to tell if it is h&a without a hearts image, if this diamond is not sold as True Hearts by James Allen then they will not supply a hearts image for it.

JA are a very busy company, really there is no point in offering hearts images for non h&a diamonds, and there is little benefit to the consumer with a hearts image for a non h&a stone unless they want a True Hearts branded h&a diamond where a hearts image is appropriate. They are providing idealscope images for round diamonds on request, hearts images as well as Idealscope for True Hearts and now ASET for fancy shapes. No vendor to the best of my knowledge will supply hearts images for their non h&a rounds.

hmm ok i guess other vendors will not do it too
i just want to know how close some diamonds are to the H&A pattern.

thanks for clarifying =)
