You may remember my post a while back about a shoe search..

Well, I''ve looked high and low for a sleek and sexy low/flat pointy shoe under $200, but I''ve come up short.

Last night I was randomly looking at a shoe site, and I found these... not what I had been envisioning, but I think I''m in love.

What do you all think?

I think they''re really cute, you could also definitely rewear them! If you decide you don''t like them, have you tried BlueTux? www.bluetuxshoes.com

I bought these: Elise. They also come in Gold and Bronze. The satin isn''t on sale so it''s $110.

Here''s my thread: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/blue-tux-shoes-amandine.81904/

But anyway! I do like the ones you posted.

I have to admit that they look very Hobby Lobby, crafty, "80''s". Sorry...just my 2 cents.

Whew, okay someone else said it. They are giving me Maddona Like a Virgin flash backs big time. I''d keep looking.

I think if the stones were only on the front/toe area it''d be OK, but it does seem a bit much...

Yeah I agree, they brought back memories of the bedazzler infomercials. You can do better!

I have to disagree with most of the other views. I like them a lot and I''m not anything like Madonna or Holly Polly(?). They look comfy, yet dressy to me.

I''ve been through all the re-incarnations of toe shapes, and pointy is my least favourite to look at and to wear. Those little heels with sling backs and pointy toes are a great ankle sprain waiting to happen.

Just my two cents.

For the record, the shoes in Frekechild''s avatar look like something I used to love and wear

Sorry, bgirl - not my fave. . .but if you love them, then who cares what we think?

Okay let me first disclaim this post by saying that I live in Los Angeles and am "into" higher fashion (not that I can afford it, but I dress in that 'style'), so that colors my view.

I fall into the not-my-fave crowd. They look juvenile/childish to me--but then again, one person's childish is another's whimsical.

Like buttercup said, it really only matters whether YOU love them... but if you're looking for honest opinions, to me it looks a bit like a bedazzler exploded on them.

Sorry

Hmm ... I think I would like them better if the sparkle were just at the toe. While I am sure they are cute on, they don''t really have a sexy/sassy look to them.
