I am looking at getting a diamond of ideal cut in the .60-.69 range in canada and have found these ones but i think they are over priced for their size. What do you think?
Also I am looking at ring settings (a three stone setting) What size side stones should I get (I was thinking .20s) Approx how much should a SI1 vgcut g colour cost?
How much are three stone ring settings in white gold 14kt? I have seen some store prices of CDN $700 which seems like a lot for a relatively simple design. I am predicting i can get it for 200-300 what do you think?

any one else have any comments about the picture of the diamond report? I noticed there are a lot of red (?inclusions) along the sides... is this ok?

You really cannot go by those plots. Sometimes those things can look really nasty and the diamond is eyeclean. Other times, there my be just one spot but you can immediatly spot it on the diamond. You have to see the diamond to tell about inclusions or have a vendor you trust that can honestly tell you if it is eye clean or not.

The people I am buying from say it is eye clean.. and they are trustworthy i''m told. I know there are different definitions of eye clean, some are to hold it arms length etc... to me eye clean is looking at it very closely and not being able to see anything. what d oyou think>?

I consider a diamond eye clean when I cannot see inclusions w/o holding the diamond in front of my nose and studying it closely. None of that arm''s lenght for me

I would ask the vendor what their definition of eye clean is. I''m sure they are trustworthy, but always good to ask so you''re on the same page.

Does anyone else here feel disenchanted with a rather obvious twinning plane slicing through the crown girdle to girdle? The shape of the dotted red lines on the clarity plot seem to indicate one - as far as I know (not too far)...

... otherwise I would consider myself an inclusion-friendly person. Whether this is a problem here or just some curiosity, I really don't know - after all this stones made it through cutting and flawless ones get chipped too.

I am most likely paranoid (5am, local time, no sleep...), but there are a few experts on this forum. You might want to ask. It will take a minute and do some public good by leaving the information out for grabs afterwards too.
