OK, so I want to go for the 2ct, but also included some 1.6s in there just in case. My ideal is 1.8, but those are super difficult to find. I want to buy the diamond fairly quickly, I have already spoken to Brian once, so I don''t want to bother him again until I have some diamonds narrowed down. Please help on which of these diamonds would be worthy. My last diamond was a 1.5 SI1 G ideal cut, so I am going to look at some I colored stones at a BM store here where I live, but I am leaning toward I so that I can afford the bigger stone, but still am going for the best cut; from what I''ve heard unless I am super color sensetive I should not be able to see too much of a difference. Thank you everyone who helps me out. I LOVE PRICESCOPE!!!

#1 or #3...if you are going for the larger stone. which i would. so i didn''t even really look at the smaller ones.

but basically any of the stones you listed are going to be stunning. just depends on what your ''preferences'' are.

All the WF stones look great; couldn''t see the cut data on the GOG stone (can''t be bothered with having to download software).

I''d go with 1, 2, or 3.

For clarification no software downloads are required whatsoever for viewing...

a. photomicrographs
b. reflector image
c. photograph of diamond in hemisphere lighting
d. hearts and arrows images
e. Sarin Screenshot via the
f. GIA FacetWare results
g. Scan of the Lab Report

Most folks have Macromedia Flash and Adobe Acrobat Reader which come preinstalled on many computers today. With those you can view the BrillianceScope results (Flash) and the Helium Scan (Adobe) which give alot of other extremely useful data.

The only 2 specialty downloads are if a person wants to view the 3d Sarin file with individual facet information and the Gem Advisor file.

In short ... pertinent cut data on any of our stones can be easily viewed with no downloads.

Peace,

Thanks for the clarification, Rhino.

I realize that there are images, but my comment was about cut data, and that doesn't appear on the photographs and H&A views.

I did actually look at the scanned lab report, but since it's an older version, it didn't give all the cut proportion information either. At that point, I logically went to look at the Sarin. That requires the software, and I couldn't be bothered to download it. I didn't check the Helium/GIA facetware after that, figuring it would require the same. My bad.

Lauraher.....having looked now at the GOG diamond's facetware info, I'm not loving the depth on it. It's a lovely stone, but I personally prefer a bit shallower stone for the spread factor (I'd rather see the weight in the diameter). On the other hand, I think it's a better value blend (H/SI1) than the other two smaller stones (I'm not a fan of paying for high color or clarity higher than SI).

Consequently, I'd still stick to the original picks of 1, 2, or 3. If they are eyeclean and they are in your budget, I'd go with one of these larger stones.

#1, #2 or #3 i particularly like #3.

have fun!

I like #3 as well. Looks eye clean to me but best to call and ask.

yeah....#3 looks like very nice for an SI 2 clarity stone.

Thanks everyone! I am leaning toward #3 as well, I am going to email WF and see if they can let me know if it is eyeclean and if it faces up white. I really want a 2ct, so hopefully everything works out.

You can call them, it''s toll free. Have them pull it and go over it with you while you''re on the phone.

Good luck, I think it''s a winner myself.
