Hi all I am still in search of the cushion cut for my future wife to be. I am looking for something around a 1.25ct or looks like it, more rectangular than square, H color or better, eye clean with sparkle with a budget of around $5000. What do you think of these cushions? What do you like about them and what do you not like about them. Which one should I choose?

I think this one is my favorite.

First one would be my choice.

Second one has leakage under the rim of the table and the third one has some dark leakage areas that are not
appealing. Some contrast is good but on the third stone not so much.

like he said , but its quite rectangular , is that the look you want?

Yes I am looking for one that is more rectangular than square.

Does number one have excellent brilliance or light return? I am still very new and unsure how to read the aset and facets.

This is what they said about number one: this G color diamond actually faces up closer to an F! Its overall brilliance and light return is excellent, making it the brightest of the set. It has a phenomenal shape for an elongated cushion with wonderful faceting.

Is a square one always going to perform better than a rectangular one?

No. And I would never trust what they say. It may be the brightest of those three, but I seriously doubt the claim of excellent light return since it doesn't look anything like the one I posted from Good Old Gold which does appear to have excellent light return.

Thank you for the reply and information. Are any stones you can recommend for me?
